Responsibilities
- Negotiates best value with suppliers/vendors
- Helps qualify and select vendors
- Ensure timely delivery
- Analyze usage and give recommendations
- Maintain Min and Max numbers on all Raw Materials
- Maintain Min and Max on all Consumables and Shop Supplies
- Maintain Min and Max on all Parts Sales Stock Items
- Purchase jobs in counterpart and place replenishment orders in the system
- Help maintain accuracy of all inventory data bases
- Ensure all PO’s issued have correct and accurate coding
- Help establish accurate and maintainable inventory cycle count system
- Monitor Counterpart for new jobs/items released
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Experience within manufacturing environment preferred
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously in a timely manner in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver’s license
- Pre-employment drug screen and background check
