ARMI PROVIDES APPRECIATION PAY TO EMPLOYEES

Fayetteville, AR, April 14th, 2020 – Arkansas Myriad, Inc., a Fayetteville, AR mechanical contractor and manufacturing company for the food processing sector, announced they are providing temporary appreciation pay to their “essential” direct labor team members. Depending on which division they work for, eligible employees will receive $2-$3 extra for every hour worked through the month of April.

The appreciation pay will go to their tradesmen who are having to work in their contracting facility, manufacturing facility or customer facilities.

“Our team has a lot to be proud of. Each one of them plays a huge part by continuing to work to help our food suppliers in this difficult environment,” said Brett Wolff, President of ARMI Contractors. “Our focus is to continue to concentrate on helping our food suppliers modify their operations to be able to stock the retail shelves across America and abroad.”

“We’re taking further precautionary measures by increasing sanitation efforts in our facilities, practicing social distancing and implementing daily temperature checks for all employees. For our team members who are traveling we are providing proper sanitation supplies and keeping all of those employees on the same projects.”

“Because we support the food processing industry it is crucial that we continue to operate to meet the needs of our customers during this critical time,” Wolff said. “The appreciation pay is our way of saying thank you to our team members who continue to show up to work every day bringing their best.”

The company has allowed those with positions who can work from home to do so and have put restrictions on outside visitors on their premises until further notice. In addition, ARMI has also increased raw material inventories to minimize the impact of unforeseen supply chain challenges so they can continue to provide equipment to their customers.
